   Even her U.S. recordings were often backed by a terrific guitars-and-percussion group, and she was a major Brazilian star of the s. Some of her early output was very à la French cabaret, but this CD brings together a bunch of her samba material, and outstanding it is, too.9/

   Carmen Miranda Format: Audio CD. out of 5 stars 1 rating. Price: Candieiro. Candieiro. Listen Now Buy: £ Disso É Que Eu Gosto. These are Brazilian recordings with poor sound quality. A disappointment for me. Songs are interesting but, frankly, I prefer her Hollywood recordings 3/5(1).
